I don't think it's an overstatement to say that anyone who knows Julie is better for it. She lifts up everyone.  For much of her life she did this just by being herself.  Now she has taken some of the inspiration she finds around her, in nature and in everyday activities and submitted that to paper.  As a result, we will all be enriched again by her presence.

Julie Stephens has felt affection for the Lake City area since first staying at the Vickers Dude Ranch on her honeymoon in 1977. A lover of the environment and an encourager by nature this book appeals to those with similar dispositions.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.  Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.  The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.
